Join us for the Be Counted and Be Heard Comedy Show
FREE EVENT... DRIVE-IN STYLE COMEDY SHOW...FAMILY FRIENDLY
This event was created for two purposes, one being to educate African American citizens and minorities of San Antonio and Bexar County about the importance of the census and why being counted is necessary. Second, to help support the county and city in furthering their message and effort to get as many people counted in the 2020 census irrespective of their ethnicity or citizenship status. It’s imperative that the African American Community understand the impact that they can make by letting their voices be heard.
There will be a selection of guest speakers to share how the census impacts their communities as it relates to resources and funding. Social distancing will be heavily enforced. Guests will register via Eventbrite. EVERY ATTENDEE MUST A TICKET
There will be a stage with a jumbo screens and sound equipment setup so everyone can enjoy the comedy show from the comfort of their vehicle.
Food Trucks will be on site . All orders will take place online. The truck will text you when your order is ready.
Our goal is to educate and get as many people of color as possible counted in 2020 to better our community and reach attainable heights.
